Something tasty is on the menu… \nCaller: From the Island nation of Vancouver is Maya Roe in calling vocation\, making it seem a notion of vacation\, you’d think she rowed her boat merrily down the Padden Stream to fair Fairhaven. Really though\, she’s on Holiday. \nEntry: $12-$15; $8 students (by donation) \n\nMaya Roe: (she/her) is a contra caller based in the Pacific Northwest on the traditional territory of Nuu-chah-nulth and Coast Salish nations. After years of loving contra\, Maya decided to take her love for contra to the next level and become a caller when dances began reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic. Maya strives to create evenings that are welcoming to newcomers and exciting for experienced dancers. \nMaya Roe \nDave Bartley:\nDave plays guitar\, mandolin\, cittern\, and several other stringed instruments. He has played many styles of music over the years and continues to range over several genres. He has performed throughout the US and Canada\, and in England\, Australia\, France and Greece.
